What Makes Us Different from Other Brands
At Woody Buddy, we craft our products using high-quality wood made from natural wood veneers. This gives every product a genuine wooden appearance, deeper grain texture, and a premium handcrafted feel that MDF cannot match.
While most brands commonly use MDF, often finished with printed laminates or paper sheets to imitate wood grain. While this may look great at first glance, it lacks the authenticity, strength, and natural beauty of real wood.

Our products feature genuine wood veneers, giving each piece a rich, natural grain.
Other brands use MDF covered with printed laminates or paper sheets, which only imitate wood and often look flat and artificial.

MDF showpieces from other brands are weaker and can easily break or chip, especially where thin laminates start peeling.

MDF products depend on glued-on laminates or paper, which can peel off from edges or get damaged with minimal handling.

MDF absorbs moisture quickly, causing swelling, bending, or the laminate layer to lift.
6. Natural Anti Termite Properties
Our first choice of wood is generally Neem wood which naturally contains oils that provide resistance to termites and pests. However, we provide special wood veneer products like Oak, Teak , Walnut etc., based on customer requests and availability of such woods. The price of such products shall be negotiated with us in advance.
MDF requires chemical treatments since it has no natural protection.

Using natural wood veneers minimizes unnecessary chemical coatings and provides a more sustainable material choice.
MDF requires synthetic binders, resins and laminated prints, making it less environmentally friendly and more chemically processed which may release formaldehyde overtime

Our products are made from high quality natural wood veneers giving it high structural strength.
MDF is a compressed fibre material that is weaker and more prone to breaking or swelling overtime.
At Woody Buddy, we choose to craft our products using premium natural Neem wood/ Other wood Veneer, which makes our products authentic wood while remaining affordable since we do not use solid wood. While many other brands use MDF (Medium Density Fibre board). Our choice of material is one of the biggest factors that makes our products stronger, safer, authentic wood, eco-friendly and longer-lasting.
